Overview #

All fees follow statutory guidelines for German mental healthcare professionals. Usual services include:

Insurance provider #

You pay the fees yourself. If applicable, you can submit the invoice to your insurance provider:

• Privat health insurance: All fees are usually fully reimbursed. However, there may be differences depending on the insurer and the insurance plan. It is best to check with your insurer in advance.
• Beihilfe and Heilfürsorge: All fees are usually fully reimbursed.
• Statutory health insurance: As I run a private practice, services cannot be billed directly to statutory health insurance. However, you may apply for cost reimbursement (Kostenerstattung) through your health insurance fund (Krankenkasse). This requires that a practice that accepts statutory health insurance issues a written recommendation for prompt psychotherapy and that you are unable to obtain a therapy slot (within a reasonable distance and a waiting time of no more than three months). If your application is approved, you can submit the invoices for reimbursement. For more information, please contact your Krankenkasse directly.
